Precautions

▪ Please avoid washing your face and applying makeup on the day of the procedure.
▪ Makeup can be applied starting the day after the procedure, but it is recommended to wait at least 2–3 days.
▪ When cleansing and applying makeup after the procedure, be gentle and avoid rubbing the treated area.
▪ Starting the day after the procedure, be sure to apply sunscreen and pay close attention to moisturizing your skin.
▪ To minimize inflammation after the procedure, avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, and strenuous exercise for at least 1–2 weeks.
▪ Pain (tightness, soreness), bruising, swelling, needle marks, and redness may persist for about 1 to 4 weeks.
▪ If swelling and warmth are severe after returning home, apply cold compresses for 30 minutes at a time.
▪ If you experience pain, changes in skin color, or abnormal sensations in the treated area, please contact us immediately.
▪ Temporary unevenness due to swelling may occur on the day of the procedure but will naturally smooth out within a few days.
▪ You may notice some cheek hollowing, but this usually improves within a few weeks, so there is no need to worry.
▪ For 1–2 weeks after the procedure, avoid lying on your side or stomach. Sleep with your head elevated using a pillow to maintain proper posture.
▪ Avoid massages, dental treatments, and excessive facial movements for about 1–2 months, as these may cause the threads to break or shift.
▪ Avoid ultrasound and radiofrequency treatments for about 1–2 months. (Mild laser treatments may be done one week after the procedure.)
▪ In some cases, threads may emerge through the skin depending on skin condition. If this happens, avoid touching the area and visit the clinic promptly.
